Get ready to have a successful season!
The Bike Lane's Endurance Mountain Bike Program kicks off on April 8th. This is a six-month program that focuses on endurance mountain biking. It's the perfect program to get you ready for the Shenandoah Mountain 100, the Patapsco Epic, the MoCo epic, or any endurance race you have your heart set on. This program will get you mentally and physically prepared for a long day in the saddle. The program will include a professionally coached monthly training program by coach Marc Genberg, a USA Cycling Level 1 coach. Also included is a coached session on cross-training, monthly group training rides, and seminars to assist you in all aspects of your race preparation. We will also have a skills clinic with pro- mountain biker Sue Haywood (this alone is worth the money)!
We have several planned group rides in The George Washington Nat'l Forest (Stokesville) as well as the Watershed in Frederick, MD. The training group will also share communications with each other through a Yahoo Group so that people can plan training on their own and have others to train with.

You don't have to race to benefit from this program. If you are interested in increasing your endurance or training for a different endurance race, this program can be modified to work for you. This program is for those who can ride 1-2 hours already. You don't have to be fast, but some fitness and mountain bike skills are required. Questions?
