      Comments:

I was a little skeptical about spending this much on gloves, but they've been a great investment. I've done two centuries this year - one on road on my Roubaix and another on gravel with a Slate - and these gloves have been ridiculously comfortable! The gel and padded inserts are in the right places whether I'm on the bars or the hoods - my hands don't go numb like they used to with lesser gloves. I've got a bit of weight behind me (and on my wrists and hands when I ride), so these have kept the numbness away. The backing material is very comfortable - my hands stay cool on the hottest days and they wick very well. Grip on the bars and hoods is very good - no slipping. The fingers don't bunch up, either. I also like the little pull tabs Garneau added to make them easier to take off.
