Product Details

Bontrager Bike Pump - Air Support HP Pro

Bontrager's Air Support HP Pro bike tire pump has a smaller volume chamber to inflate higher pressure tires - up to 120 psi and comes with an extendable hidden hose to make it easier to pump up higher pressure tires. The short version is easily stowed in a jersey pocket, both come with a mounting bracket to attach under a water bottle cage.

- Inflate to 120 psi (8.25 bar) with little effort
- Extendable, hidden hose reduces stress at valve when pumping at higher pressures
- Threaded head securely locks onto Presta valves

    Comments:

This pump worked the first day I bought it. Flatted in group ride. Pumped worked great that time. Fast forward a few months and the pump is called for. Pumped over 200 strokes and can't get over 30 psi. Tested it on several tire sizes after I got home with same results. It barely inflated just the tube with no tire. Going back to CO2's.

Not durable; lasted about 20 pumps (or $2.50 per use)

    Comments:

I bought this in the fall and got about 20 uses out of this as of July 2015 (I used it in to repair about 5 flats, and then about 15 other times). I expected it would last longer than 5-6 months (I don't bike normally in the winter). The top metal clamp that holds the hose to the air delivery piece that you put on the bike broke off, meaning the hose got stuck in the pump, rendering it useless.
